16 Weight Loss Rules

1. Every 3 months while taking any hormone you should be getting blood work from your doctor to monitor your organ health, especially liver and pancreatic function. (CMP, CBC & Thyroid Function)

2. Remember, slow progress is still progress (1-2lbs of loss a week). *A pound of fat is the size of your fist.*

3. Get at least 30 mins of cardio or other volume exercises a day, otherwise you risk muscle atrophy and up to 20% slower metabolism when working your way off the hormones. You will continue this routine after you end your hormone injection cycle.

4. Try to have a small, healthy meal in your stomach when injecting Semaglutide, day or night. The added glucose will assist with some stomach pains.

5. Everyone will eventually have a final weight loss plateau after reaching their hormonal limits (your body wants homeostasis) At that point it's best to slowly work off the hormones and keep them in your back pocket for the future while still continuing your new diet, fasting, cardio and weight lifting. You do not need to be on hormones year round to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

6. All symptoms are preventable. Let's think ahead of your next step when coming off any hormone cycle.

7. Your "meals of the day" in your 6 hour feeding window should consist of mostly protein with some healthy fats and complex carbs. A little fruit before or after working out may help with fatigue and nausea. YOU WILL AVOID: Fried foods, bread (or breaded food), added sugars, oily dishes, and processed foods. You may develop vomiting or diarrhea as your body will now demand healthier options.

8. KEY: 1 Gram of protein per Kilogram (2.2lbs) max, per day and up to 100 grams in total for anyone on the higher end of that calculation. You don't want to lose your glutes.

9. If you get drunk you may feel sick for the next 72 hours. This is because the glycogen released from your liver competes with the additional alcohol sugars while adding pancreatic/liver stress.

10. You may max out the syringe to over 1.1ml of bacteriostatic water to make sure you end up with 1.0ml when the mixing process is complete.

11. Purchase a new bacteriostatic water container every 2 months from the link provided above. Always refrigerate 24/7 (we charge $20 per 2 vials)

12. Always drink over a gallon of water a day. PEE EVERY 90 MINUTES. Though you should not be peeing at all in the middle of the night, this would interrupt recovery.

13. If you develop unmanageable constipation (having bowel movements less regularly than every 48 hours) then inform me ASAP via question 5.

14. When coming off, try to keep off the hormones for at least the same length of time that you were taking them. This prevents you from hitting homeostasis early on in your next cycle. For example: If you injected Semaglutide for 6 months, then take at least 6 months off before attempting to start a new hormone cycle of Semaglutide at a beginners dose.

15. Working off the hormones: You may experience rebound hunger for up to 2 months after your last injection (depending on duration and dose of your cycle). These symptoms are due to your blood sugar regulating and adjusting to the loss of GLP-1 assistance. Maintain your diet, continue training, drink water and push any urges until your body acclimates. It will acclimate on its own. To limit some of these symptoms you may also choose to utilize a 30-45mg program of low-dose Mounjaro (to assist with GIP regulation at the very end)

16. WARNING: YOU WILL GAIN POST HORMONE WEIGHT IF YOU DISCONTINUE YOUR CARDIO, WEIGHT TRAINING, INTERMITTENT FASTING AND THE USUAL PROPER DIET WITH AMPLE HYDRATION.
